This painting features the decommissioned Fisher Covered Railroad Bridge in watercolor, and what I imagine a train would have looked like roaring through it in pen work. I’ve used watercolor to represent what still stands in the present, and pen work to portray what was in the past. The covered bridge still stands today and is a beautiful reminder of the past. If you live in Vermont, or are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and go visit it.
