o   What level of detail do you want?

o   Do you want a more realistic style, or a unique style?

o   How big do you want your painting to be?

 Step 2: Digging Deeper

 - Once you’ve decided on a medium, I’ll need to know a couple more things such as…

o Do you have a reference photo you’d like me to use? (If so, send it along)

o   Do you have a specific color scheme in mind?

o   What “feeling” would you like the painting to portray?

o   Where in your house are you trying to hang your painting? (This can help when choosing a

size and color scheme)

o Do you want any specific details included? (For example, a beauty mark in a portrait, or a trail

sign in a landscape)

This information will help me get an idea of what you’d like your painting to look like.

 Step 3: The Process

 - Now that I have all the important info, it’s time to get started on your painting!

The first thing I will do is create a “rough sketch” of what your painting will look like.  I will send along

the sketch for your approval, and you can either accept it, or reject it.  If you reject it, we’ll simply keep

talking until I create a sketch that’s more to your liking.  If you accept, I will begin your painting.

-You can have as much, or as little, involvement in the process of your painting as you would like.

Some people want to see step-by-step progress shots, while others like to be surprised by the end

result.  It’s up to you!  My main concern is that you love your final product.

Note: Please do not wait until the very end of the process to request a large change.  If you are

concerned about certain details, simply request the step-by-step process photos.

Step 4: Stalking the Mailman

 - Once your painting is finished I will send you the final photo.  Your photo may have a watermark on it

for copywrite purposes, but don’t fret, the painting you receive will not.  As soon as I get your final

approval the painting will be signed, varnished, and wired so that it’s ready to hang the minute you

receive it!

- Your painting will be shipped within 2-5 business days (time must be allotted for the varnish to dry

completely).  Keep in mind, shipping may be a bit delayed around the holidays.

- All acrylic paintings are wrapped in protective bubble wrap and shipped in boxes.  Watercolor

paintings are wrapped in cellophane, packed between sturdy cardboard pieces, and packaged in either

heavy bubble mailers, or boxes depending

on size.  You will be provided a tracking number once your product is shipped.

Note: I do not take responsibility for products once they are out of my hands.  That being said, if you do

receive something damaged, please let me know and we’ll see whether we can work something out.

Payment

Your payment is due before I ship out the product.  Once your painting is complete, I will send you a

notification that it has been published on my Website under the Commissions tab.  You will have two

weeks to send in your payment, or your painting will be removed from the site.

If, for some reason, you realize that you cannot pay for your product, please let me know as soon as

possible so we can re-evaluate some options that may work better. If you wait until your product is

completely finished to inform me that you cannot pay, your product will be auctioned off, and the

proceeds will go to whatever organization, charity, or cause that I deem worthy.

Payment Plan

Good news! I now offer a payment plan option for paintings that are over $300.00. That means, if

you’ve had your eye on

a large-scale painting, now is your time to snag it in an affordable way! Here’s how it works…

1.    Fall in love with a painting

2.    Contact me using the Contact link at the top of the website page

3.    I’ll ask you some basic information such as email, phone, address. Then, I will send you your first

invoice. (You must pay 25% for your first payment in order to hold your painting. The initial 25% deposit

is nonrefundable.)

4.    Depending on the length of your plan, I will send you an invoice every month for the remainder of

your payment owed. If at any time you would like to pay more, simply let me know and I’ll adjust the

invoice.

5.    Once I receive your last payment, I will ship out your painting!
